Our two pools offer something for each member. Zero-depth entry, leisure pool for play, lap lanes, water fitness classes, and more! Each of our two locker rooms and family changing rooms offer direct access to the pool area.

  • 8 Lane Competition Pool (25 yards)
  • Pool Depth: 4 feet to 12 1/2 feet
  • Diving Board
  • 82 degree water temperature
  • Swim gear available by request
  • Direct access from locker rooms
  • Aquatics Fitness Classes
  • Home of the Ankeny Swim team
  • Expect to share a lane.
    • ​If there are 3+ swimmers, you must circle swim.

Pool R​ules

Please keep our pools safe and fun for everyone and commit to following our Pool Rules:

LEISURE POOL

  • DO NOT ENTER the water unless a Lifeguard is present.
  • ​Children must be at least 3 months old to be in the pool.
  • Children 8 years and under must have a parent or guardian in the pool with them at all times.
  • Children 9 years to 12 years old are allowed in the Leisure Pool with a parent or guardian on the pool deck.
  • Parent or guardian must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Only Coastguard approved vests are allowed; Floaties are not allowed.
  • Trail Point pool noodles, lily pad and rings may be available - all other items will not be permitted. No inflatable floaties of any kind.


LAP POOL

  • ​DO NOT ENTER the water unless a Lifeguard is present.
  • ALL CHILDREN 12 YEARS AND UNDER MUST PASS A SWIM TEST.
  • All children 12 years and under must have a parent or guardian present on the pool desk - even if the child has passed the swim test.
  • Parent or guardian must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Only Coastguard approved vests are allowed; Floaties are not allowed.
  • Trail Point pool noodles, lily pad and rings may be available - all other items will not be permitted​.  No inflatable floaties of any kind.​​
