Member Code of Conduct
Trail Point is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all members, guests, and participants. Trail Point's Code of Conduct outlines prohibited behaviors as well as expected behaviors.
Trail Point shall have the right to warn, suspend, expel or terminate any member, guest, or program participant in the following situations:
- Conviction of any crime involving abuse; is or has been a registered sex offender; has been convicted of any offense relating to the use, sale, possession, or transportation of narcotics or habit forming and/or dangerous drugs; or, is under the influence of dangerous drugs or chemicals, narcotics, or intoxicating beverages.
- If a person requires an inordinate amount of attention from the staff thereby causing inadequate levels of supervision for the remainder of the participants or members.
- If a person's behavior is determined to be inappropriate within the scope and spirit of Trail Point and DMACC values.
- Personal fitness training (paid/unpaid) performed by anyone not certified and/or employed by Trail Point.
- Behavior determined to be unlawful, abusive, derogatory, harassing, unwelcome and/or obscene language.
- Threats of harm, verbal abuse, physical aggression or violent acts.
- Behavior which poses a direct threat to themselves or others.
- Negative comments or actions based on an individual's sex, race, ethnicity, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation or any other legally protected status.
- Possession of any weapons, devices or objects, which may be used as a weapon.
- Smoking, the use of tobacco, e-cigarette, or the use of products intended to mimic smoking or tobacco products.
- Using or possessing alcohol or illegal products.
- Theft or behavior that results in the destruction or loss of property.
- Harassment or intimidation by words, gestures, body language, or menacing behavior.
- Sexually explicit conversation, behavior or display of pornography.
- Unsafe or inappropriate attire.
- Loitering.
- Accessing or permitting access to Trail Point without signing-in.
- Using equipment other than its intended purposes or not following safety instructions. Equipment orientations are available to all members and Trail Point staff members are eager to be of assistance.
- Members, guests, and participants are encouraged to report behavior, which is inconsistent with Trail Point's Code of Conduct to Trail Point staff directly.
Age Guidelines
- Members 13+ will be permitted in the facility without a parent/guardian and can utilize all areas of the facility including Group Fitness classes.
- Members 9-12 are allowed in the following areas on the first-floor without direction supervision as long as a parent/guardian is in the facility: lobby/lounge, racquetball courts, & basketball/volleyball courts.
- Members 9-12 are allowed to use cardio/weight equipment on the second-floor while under direct supervision of a parent/guardian but are not permitted past the Cycling Studio.
- Members 9-12 are permitted to use the track while under direct supervision of a parent/guardian.
- Members 8 and under must be checked into Kids Zone when parent/guardian is using facility/equipment on the 2nd floor; OR must be directly supervised by a parent/guardian or 16+ year old sibling on the first floor.
- For everyone's safety, children under the age of 9 are NOT allowed on the second-floor.
- Members 12 and under cannot be in the facility without adult supervision or a 16+ year old sibling present.
Guest Pass Info
Adult members are able to bring guests with them for free
- Single Memberships = 5 guests per year
- Family Memberships = 10 guests per year
All guests must fill out a waiver prior to entry and be accompanied by an adult member throughout their visit
All adult guests must bring a government issued photo ID to be run through Raptor (National Sex Offender Registry) prior to entry
The waiver and Raptor processes must be completed each time prior to entry – regardless if they’ve entered as a guest or on a day pass before
Day Pass Info
Adult Member sponsored day passes have the following options:
- Minors (17 and under) = $5 per person
- Adults (18 and over) = $10 per person
- Families (1-2 adults plus dependent children; or grandparents and up to 4 grand children) = $30 per family
All day pass holders must fill out a waiver prior to entry
Minors are ineligible to fill out the waiver – must have the sponsoring adult member (or parent) fill out on their behalf
All adult day pass holders must bring a government issued photo ID to be run through Raptor (National Sex Offender Registry) prior to entry
The waiver and Raptor processes must be completed each time prior to entry – regardless if they’ve entered as a guest or on a day pass before.
Visitor Pass Info
Adults (18 and older) are now able to come try out Trail Point without needing to be sponsored in by a member.
- Cost = $15 per day
All visitors must fill out a waiver and must bring a government issued photo ID to be run through Raptor (National Sex Offender Registry) prior to entry.
The waiver and Raptor processes must be completed each time prior to entry – regardless if they’ve entered as a guest or on a day or visitor pass before.
