Fitness Class Descriptions

Class Age Guideline: These classes are reserved for adults and members ages 13+.

Class Name Type Description
ACTIVE AGERS STRENGTH & STRETCH STRENGTH This class incorporates strength, posture, balance, flexibility and coordination exercises specific to Active Agers. (All levels & ages welcome.)
AQUA BARRE AQUATICS A fun workout that is a total body water workout. Utilizes movement and positions from dance, Pilates, and Yoga. (All levels welcome.)
AQUA CARDIO & STRENGTH AQUATICS This is a pool-based, intense workout! Get your heart pumping, burn fat, improve muscle tone, and build strength through cardio and strength intervals! (All levels welcome.)
AQUA ZUMBA AQUATICS Aqua Zumba gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering are often heard during an Aqua Zumba workout. Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that's cardio conditioning, body toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief! (All levels welcome.)
AQUATICS TO RESTORE HEALTH AQUATICS/THERAPUTIC

This group water exercise program can help lessen symptoms of chronic disease. The program is designed to improve balance, flexibility ,strength and walking ability through water's buoyant environment. Water allows the freedom to move and exercise with more ease and less pain.

BARBELL STRENGTH STRENGTH Bring the weight room to the studio! An upbeat strength training class using barbells and  your own body weight to challenge all major muscle groups. Higher weight, lower repetition will help you gain muscular endurance, strength, and definition. Be prepared to bring the power and leaver this class feeling truly strong! (All levels welcome.)
BOOTCAMP CARDIO/STRENGTH Non-stop, powerhouse workout that combines full-body resistance training with continuous cardio. We use a variety of equipment and cycle activity with built-in recovery for extra efficiency, guaranteed to burn calories and get your heart pumping! (All levels welcome.)
CARDIO DANCE CARDIO This class is the ultimate dance party! Through a mix of choreography and exercises, you will sweat away all the worries. No rhythm or dance skills required.
CARDIO FUSION CARDIO

Each week, we'll switch up the cardio focus to keep your workouts fresh and exciting. From high-intensity intervals to dance-inspired moves, this class offers a dynamic mix designed to boost your endurance, burn calories, and elevate your fitness level. You’ll find new ways to challenge your body and have fun with every session. Perfect for all fitness levels.

CYCLING CARDIO Our cycle classes provide instruction on proper bike setup and body position, which allows participants to get more familiar with our Stages Bikes. These cycle classes offer a challenging ride of intervals to deliver a confidence-boosting yet satisfying workout. Our classes are also designed to simulate different road terrains from steady flat stretches to hills, turns, jumps, and challenging sprints. (All levels welcome.)
ENERGIZING VINYASA YOGA MIND/BODY This flow yoga class seamlessly links poses together in coordination with focused breath. A variety of strength-based asanas are incorporated to build strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility. Movements are designed to help participants tune in to their bodies and improve muscle engagement. (All levels welcome.)
GENTLE YOGA MIND/BODY This yoga class includes gentle flows with a focus on slower, controlled movements, longer pose holds, breathing techniques and mindfulness to bring the body, mind, and spirit into balance. (All levels welcome.)
HATHA YOGA MIND/BODY

Concentrates on strength in standing asanas incorporating balance, stretching and relaxation to bring the body, mind and spirit into balance. All abilities welcome.

MAT PILATES MIND/BODY

With a focus on the breath and flow, Pilates exercises relieve stress and soothe aches and pains. With all the hunching and sitting we tend to do, the cues and corrections of each class will increase your postural and muscular awareness. (All levels welcome.)

POWER YOGA MIND/BODY

A fast- paced, strength-building yoga flow that focuses on endurance, balance and flexibility. This class connects breath to movement, with a continuous flow from one pose to the next. The sequence of poses will guide you through a yoga journey that builds to a challenging peak pose. You will leave this class feeling empowered and energized.

STEP CARDIO A cardiovascular workout that utilizes the step in varying speeds, directions, and positions. This workout strengthens and shapes the lower body, one step at a time. (All levels welcome.)
TOTAL STRENGTH STRENGTH Bring the weight room to the studio! An upbeat strength training class that uses a variety of equipment, such as dumbbells, barbells, stability balls, resistance tubing and your own body weight to challenge all major muscle groups. This class will help you build strength, increase metabolism & improve movement patterns. Be prepared to bring the power and leave this class feeling truly strong! (All levels welcome.)
YOGA FUSION CARDIO/STRENGTH

A creative blend of yoga-inspired flows, short cardio bursts, balance sequences, bodyweight & weighted strength training exercises all set to crazy fun music! It will improve strength, balance, flexibility, and can help improve your overall fitness. Yoga Fusion is all of your favorite workouts in one! (All levels welcome.)

YOGA SCULPT MIND/BODY

This class combines strength training, yoga and cardio to give you a fantastic whole-body workout! Small hand weights will be utilized throughout this 45-minute total body burner. Be prepared to listen to upbeat music! We will finish class with stretching and savasana, leaving you feeling totally refreshed! (All levels welcome).

ZUMBA CARDIO A pre-choreographed and easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired dance fitness party. The routines feature fast and slow rhythms to burn maximum calories as you re-energize in a fun atmosphere. (All levels welcome.)
